<h2>Instructions on Submitting Reports</h2> <p>Submitted reports are moderated by a team of volunteers, who publish updates to the crowdmap, twitter and facebook.</p> <p>OPEN ALGERIA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE AUTHENTICITY OF PUBLISHED REPORTS.<br /> Where possible, reports are verified before publishing. However, not all reports can be verified, and we encourage users to help establish credibility of reports through the credibility voting tool on the report itself.</p> <p>Submissions that are offensive, incite violence, promote political or religious aims, or that are not informative will not be published.</p> <h2>Submissions from Within Algeria</h2> <p><strong>ALL UPDATES FROM WITHIN ALGERIA SHOULD BE EMAILED SECURELY VIA A <a href="http://www.hushmail.com">HUSHMAIL</a> ACCOUNT, DIRECTLY TO THE OPEN ALGERIA HUSHMAIL ACCOUNT, TO ENSURE ANONYMITY.</strong> <br /><a href="http://www.hushmail.com">click here for instructions on creating an account and using hushmail</a>. Emails should be sent via Hushmail to <a href="mailto:openalgeria@hushmail.com">openalgeria@hushmail.com</a>.</p> <p>Use of the direct form on the crowdmap website is NOT secure, and any reports submitted from within Algeria by this means will not be accepted.</p> <p>USE OF SMS IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INTERNAL UPDATES.</p> <p>We also strongly recommend that you download and install <a href="http://www.torproject.org">Tor</a> to increase anonymity when visiting the site.
