Open Algeria is a neutral voluntary crowdmap striving to raise awareness, transparency and communication in times of crisis, and support of humantiarian aid where it is most needed.

IMPORTANT - READ FIRST: reports from within Algeria must only use Hushmail, and be submitted to openalgeria@hushmail.com. Submissions using the direct form on the website are not secure, and we will not accept reports from within Algeria by this route. We strongly recommend that you use a tool such as Tor to maintain your anonymity whilst using this map.

Reports submitted from outside Algeria can use the direct form on this website, or tweet using #openalgeria. You will find instructions for using Hushmail, and all other methods of reporting, in instructions for submitting reports

Submissions that are offensive, incite violence, promote political or religious aims, or that are not informative will not be published.
